Bressay Outreach (BOUT) is a Scottish registered charity formed to operate internationally to relieve poverty and disease, support the physically challenged and promote education of the young regardless of race religion creed or political affiliation.

Presently BOUT  has three trustees two of whom are of Nigerian origin and the third British/Zambian who has spent a chunk of his life in Africa.

​

On 13 April 2011, BOUT entered into a Cooperation Agreement with the Federal Republic of Nigeria through the Ministry of Planning.
